While I accept lists via text or email, I highly recommend using AnyList. It is the most efficient way to share and update lists in real-time. You can learn more at AnyList.com.

How do I pay for the groceries?

I pay at the register with my own card to keep the process simple for you. You reimburse the exact store total plus the service fee via Zelle, Venmo, or Check at delivery.

Do I get the actual store receipt?

Yes, absolutely. I provide the original physical store receipt with every delivery so you can see exactly what was paid at the register. Unlike apps, I never add hidden markups.

Can you shop at more than one store?

Yes. I offer an additional store stop for a flat $15 fee per extra location. This allows you to get your specialty items from one shop and organic produce from another.

What if an item is out of stock?

I will text or call you from the aisle to discuss substitutions. If I can't reach you, I will omit the item to ensure you only pay for exactly what you want.

Why is the Wellness Check-In good for seniors?

This service is designed for families who want extra "eyes on the ground." Beyond just food, I provide dedicated social interaction and perform a "Fridge Safety Sweep" to remove expired or duplicate items, helping the kitchen stay organized and safe.

Can I book a Wellness Check-In by itself?

The Wellness Check-In is a premium add-on for our **Stocked & Settled** service. Because it involves a 15-minute social visit and a fridge safety sweep, it is only available when I am already in your home to unpack and organize your groceries.

How do family updates work?

After the visit, I send a brief text or email to a designated family member confirming the groceries were stocked and providing a quick "wellness thumbs-up". This is a favorite feature for families living outside of the North County area.

How do returns work?

If there is a mistake with the shop, I handle the return or replacement free of charge. For standard returns, I can process them during my next regular visit.

Terms & Liability Release: By engaging Feed Your Kitchen, the Client agrees to release Don Cecil from any and all liability for ordinary negligence, including but not limited to food spoilage, property damage, or accidental injury. As a logistical agent, Feed Your Kitchen is not responsible for product quality, manufacturer defects, or allergen labeling.

Once delivery is complete or items are stocked, the Client assumes full responsibility for food safety and proper storage. Total liability for any claim shall be limited to the service fee paid for the specific order in question.
